All the ingredients needed for the Chicken Jambalaya recipe!
This week Supercook, my favorite cooking website, is having their first challenge in which participants must use three featured ingredients (rice, chicken, and tomato) in a recipe they found on their website. Kind of like Iron Chef!
If you’re unfamiliar with Supercook, you basically can input all the ingredients you have in your kitchen, and the website searches the internet for recipes you can make with what you already have, which helps reduce food waste and saves time and money from going back to the grocery store for extra ingredients! I’ve also written a whole blog post about the website before, which you can read here.
Woke up at 4am to be in this pic of us winning a conquest.
I’ve been in the same guild in Star Wars: The Old Republic for over 2 years now, and I’m very happy to be with them! I’ve mentioned my guild, Despair on the Harbinger, a few times on the blog before, but today I was inspired by a tweet by @ArtMusicTech, who said:
I need to find some tips on how to be a better guild member and ways I can improve the guilds I’m in. #SWTOR#swtorfamily
Last weekend I was able to attend PAX Prime 2015 in Seattle! I’ve attended other PAX events before in other cities, but this was my first time at PAX Prime. The last time I was in Seattle, I flew there for a SWTOR Community Cantina event. At that point of time, I didn’t even know what PAX was, but I quickly learned it was one of the biggest gaming conventions.
Before a Huttball match! My character is on the left.
Last night I PvPed for the first time in a long time! It’s been months since I’ve been in a warzone or arena, but I have at least dueled a bit with my guildies. I joined a group of players, some that I’ve met in person and others that I know from Facebook, and had a great time!
Hello everyone! I know it’s been a little bit since I posted on the blog! I’ve recorded a few episodes of Corellian Run Radio, and the latest one is out today on iTunes or your favorite podcast app. However, I’ve included the video here for you. (more…)
Star Wars: The Old Republic’s newest expansion, Knights of the Fallen Empire, is coming out in about two months, and while we don’t have a huge amount of official information about any upcoming gameplay changes, I have gathered quite a few bits of knowledge that affects how I’m playing now to prepare for the new expansion.
Today, Nom Nom Galaxyby Q-Games and PixelJunk has been launched for PC! Nom Nom Galaxy is a 2D game in which you explore different planets to build offices and factories and collect ingredients in order to develop your own galactic soup empire. There is also competition within the interstellar soup industry, so you must also build defenses to protect your soup factory! Read more to see my Nom Nom Galaxy review!
The Liebster Award is one given to bloggers by other bloggers to help recognize and learn a little more about them than what they usually write about! I have been nominated by Chadrassa aka Cleeyah of the In Character blog, in which she also writes about video games, especially SWTOR!
In my Liebster post, I must give eleven facts about myself, answer Chadrassa’s questions, and then nominate another blogger and write my own questions for them! Let’s get started!
Hello everyone! I know I’m a few days late reporting this, but my co-host Jason and I recorded episode 149 of Corellian Run Radio on Sunday featuring YouTube gamer and BioWare fan Lady Insanity! We interview her about what she does in the gaming industry and her thoughts of information she has obtained about the upcoming SWTOR Knights of the Fallen Empire expansion.
Additionally, I give a few tips on trying out operations in-game, especially for players that have been playing alone and would like to try out some additional end-game group content!
You can download the episode on iTunes or your favorite podcast app, or you can also watch the YouTube video of the live recording we did on Sunday, which I embedded here on the post.
