This past week I read Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I haven’t read any books in a while, though I used to read for pleasure a lot more when I was in high school and college! Lately when I’ve tried to read, it’s been difficult to concentrate and to get into a novel, but this book made it easy to become engrossed in the story and continue reading until the story was complete.

This week Supercook, my favorite cooking website, is having their first challenge in which participants must use three featured ingredients (rice, chicken, and tomato) in a recipe they found on their website. Kind of like Iron Chef!
If you’re unfamiliar with Supercook, you basically can input all the ingredients you have in your kitchen, and the website searches the internet for recipes you can make with what you already have, which helps reduce food waste and saves time and money from going back to the grocery store for extra ingredients! I’ve also written a whole blog post about the website before, which you can read here.
I’ve been in the same guild in Star Wars: The Old Republic for over 2 years now, and I’m very happy to be with them! I’ve mentioned my guild, Despair on the Harbinger, a few times on the blog before, but today I was inspired by a tweet by @ArtMusicTech, who said:

I have a few tips on what I consciously do in my guild to encourage fun and success in the guild!
Last weekend I was able to attend PAX Prime 2015 in Seattle! I’ve attended other PAX events before in other cities, but this was my first time at PAX Prime. The last time I was in Seattle, I flew there for a SWTOR Community Cantina event. At that point of time, I didn’t even know what PAX was, but I quickly learned it was one of the biggest gaming conventions.
Last night I PvPed for the first time in a long time! It’s been months since I’ve been in a warzone or arena, but I have at least dueled a bit with my guildies. I joined a group of players, some that I’ve met in person and others that I know from Facebook, and had a great time!
